About this newspaper

What this is

Community News publishes local reporting, short announcements from local organizations, small classified ads, and moderated public discussion. It is deliberately small: there is no private messaging and no social network here.

Who writes it

Anyone can read. To write, you ask for a role: authors write articles, announcers post for an organization they belong to, and editors review and publish. Moderators handle reports, and administrators manage the site.

How decisions are made

Every submission goes through the same editorial flow: a writer submits, an editor reads it, and the editor either publishes it, asks for changes, or declines it with a note. The writer sees that history in their studio. An editor can never review their own work.

Getting in touch

Corrections and tips are welcome. Use the classifieds for neighbourly notices, or the forum for public discussion.
